Addressing Academic Misconduct at NWU - 2024-05-07 Online

Kindly note: Registrants will receive an email communicating the relevant information. 

 

Purpose:

To introduce new and current NWU staff members to the AIITSA system and the Standard Operating Procedures to manage instances of academic misconduct. 

 

Outcomes:

At the end of this session, participants will:

  • have an overview of the concept of academic integrity and the occurrence of misconduct at NWU;
  • recognise the benefits of the Academic Integrity Information Systems Application (AIITSA);
  • understand the operating procedures for managing academic misconduct;
  • know how to use the AIITSA reporting platform on SharePoint; and
  • be informed of the structures of Faculty Academic Integrity committees. 

 

Expectations/ Requirements:

  • Attendees should be NWU staff members with access to NWU SharePoint.
