Purpose:

With the increasing emphasis on integrating work experience into courses, it's essential for faculties and schools to have a clear understanding and share best practices for assessing students during their placements with outside organizations or service providers. This Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) opportunity is designed for faculties and schools interested in learning about the assessment methods used in work placements, with a focus on best practices. The CPL workshop aims to provide guidance and strategies for effectively assessing and evaluating students' performance during their work placements.

 

Outcomes:

After the webinar, attendees will have:
• integrated knowledge of practical skills and strategies for assessing and evaluating student performance during work placements; and
• a coherent understanding of curriculum design principles and considerations for embedding WIL and appropriate assessment methods
