Purpose:

This train-the-trainer workshop is designed for educators who want to deliver their students a Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) workshop.

Learn how to guide students in exploring how Gen AI tools can simplify tasks, enhance creativity, and prepare them for future innovations.

This session equips trainers with the skills, tools, and example prompts to effectively teach and engage students in discovering the potential of AI.

What you’ll learn:

• Gain a deep understanding of Generative AI concepts and how to explain them clearly to students.
• Learn how to introduce tools like Microsoft Copilot (or similar systems) and demonstrate their practical use in academic or professional tasks.
• Master the art of using effective prompting techniques in textual and visual contexts and learn how to teach these techniques to students.
• Explore a variety of example prompts and interactive exercises to use as teaching methods during your own workshops.
• Understand how to support students in further developing their AI skills and preparing for future developments in AI.

This workshop includes hands-on activities where participants will practice using Gen AI tools and experiment with different prompt strategies to create engaging learning experiences for their students.
