NWU SASSE (South African Survey of Student Engagement) workshop 2025-07-24 Online

Purpose:

The NWU participates in the annual national South African Survey of Student Engagement (SASSE) survey. This workshop is scheduled to allow the administrators of the NWU SASSE survey to provide feedback to NWU Faculty and support staff on the 2024 survey and insight into the analysis of the survey results.

Outcomes:

Insight into patterns of student engagement and disengagement.
Identification of key engagement indicators such as active learning, student-faculty interaction and effectiveness of student support services.
Insight into gaps between students' expectations and their actual experiences
Identification of possible practices to promote student agency and engagement.

Requirements:

Please log in to the session at least 5 minutes before the start time of the workshop.
