QuestionPro - Workshop 1 - Survey Design, Development and Distribution 2025-08-29 Online

Purpose:

To help NWU support staff with the administration of online surveys, mobile data collection, advanced analysis and data visualisation through the use of QuestionPro software.

This workshop is scheduled to provide staff with the practical knowledge to guide research projects and administer departmental or institutional surveys efficiently with QuestionPro.

Outcomes:

Gain practical skills to design academic research surveys aligned with dissertation, thesis, and publication requirements;
Learn best practices for questionnaire design, including advanced logic (skip/display), randomisation, and question ordering, crucial for reducing bias in research;
Understand multiple distribution options to effectively collect data from diverse populations, useful for both classroom projects and large-scale field research; and
Learn to manage longitudinal studies and pre/post-assessment surveys using advanced features like offline data collection.
