Planning formative assessment practices to improve student learning

This session aims to provide lecturers with basic knowledge and understanding of introductory assessment practices at the NWU, in terms of the key definitions, terminology, context, types and purpose of assessment; an overview of the NWU assessment policies and Higher Education assessment trends and theories, and skills to competently plan for assessment in order to improve student learning.
