TYPE OF APD OPPORTUNITY

Moving to Mastery face-to-face session

This APD opportunity will be delivered as a face-to-face morning/afternoon session. This session will provide information on theories and theoretical frameworks, as well as applicable examples relevant to the topic of the APD opportunity. Participants will not be required to do an assignment or practical application during the session. These sessions would normally serve as a prerequisite to a Change LAB practical hands-on workshop.

PURPOSE AND OUTCOMES

The purpose of this face-to-face session is to learn how to support students meaningfully through the academic peer collaborative support programmes, individual advising, and specialised support services offered by CTL, Student Academic Development and Support.

At the end of this workshop, the participants should be able to:

  • Meaningfully support students in their classroom;
  • Enhance student engagament towards higher academic achievement.

Participants are invited to share their needs in terms of student enagagment and development during this session.
