Lunch and Learn - Webinar
This APD opportunity will be delivered in a synchronous online webinar format. Participants will engage with the specific topic in a group discussion, facilitated by the presenter, and contributing to a community of practice. This lunch-hour discussion will enable participants to share ideas and successes, and reveal challenges participants experience in their teaching relevant to the topic. A showcase of strategies for success by expert lecturers on various teaching and learning challenges will also be offered.


WHY SHOULDN'T I MISS THIS!
Being part of a community of practice gives you access to knowledge and expertise that one would not necessarily gain on your own. This lunch-hour discussion will enable you to share ideas, challenges, and successes pertaining to the relevant topic. A Learning Management System (LMS) is an integral part of teaching and learning. Develop your technical skills towards the enhancement of facilitating an enriched student learning experiences.


PURPOSE AND OUTCOMES
The purpose of this lunch hour webinar is to provide lecturers the opportunity to showcase their T&L strategies, challenges, and successes in using the NWU LMS eFundi as part of their digital teaching and learning environment.
Themes that will be explored include:

•    Teaching presence and online facilitation


EXPECTATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Participants are expected to access the link to the webinar sent to their NWU email address. Join the webinar at least 10minutes before the webinar start to sort out any technical issues before the webinar start. Upon completion, remember to provide feedback on the webinar.
