Purpose of the APD opportunity:

The purpose of this session is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to moderate for quality during a continuous assessment.

Outcomes of the APD opportunity:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to: 

• Define what constitutes quality moderation;

• Employ principles of assessment in moderating for quality;

• Apply best practices in moderating for quality during continuous assessment;

• Improve internal and external moderation practices.

Expectations/ Requirements:

Participants are required to bring an existing marked assessment paper and memorandum to the session, and to evaluate moderating practices against the outcomes of the session.
