Purpose of the APD opportunity:

 

The purpose of this workshop is to enable participants to develop strategies for migrating content from face-to-face to the online environment. Participants will learn to determine when to use asynchronous or synchronous methods. Participants will also explore various tools to easily convert various types of content into web-appropriate formats. This is a one week course and requires a commitment of at least 6 - 8 hours of work. There are strict daily deadlines to be met during this course. Outcomes of the APD opportunity:

At the end of this online workshop, the participants should be able to:

  • Identify web-appropriate content formats;

  • Use different conversion strategies based on original content format.
