This Magna Online Seminar helps individuals understand more about the positive and negative sides of leadership by comparing and contrasting two types of leadership: servant leadership and toxic leadership. By knowing how to identify both servant leadership and toxic leadership actions, behaviors, and concepts, participants will be able to advance their understanding of leadership and their own leadership practice.

Purpose of the APD opportunity:

You’ve come across a multitude of leaders in your profession. Some good, some bad, and some somewhere in between. This online seminar will guide you in developing your own leadership style through exploring and comparing two opposing styles, servant and toxic leadership.

Outcomes of the APD opportunity:

At the end of this workshop, the participants should be able to:

• Define servant leadership and toxic leadership;
• Identify behaviors, actions, and concepts associated with each leadership type;
• Enhance your own leadership practice by comparing these leadership types and applying the lessons learned.
