In the spirit of Heritage Month, this webinar was scheduled a day before national Heritage Day offering attendees an opportunity to celebrate the richness of diversity in the NWU. Share in the discussion on the NWU’s position on Multilingualism and initiatives to enhance and develop a culture of multilingualism.
Purpose of the APD opportunity:
The purpose of this webinar is to launch the Multilingual Social Work Dictionary of the North-West University – Your training companion. This publication is a joint initiative of the Language Directorate and the lecturers of the Social Work Divisions of the School for Psychosocial Health, Faculty of Health Sciences. Multilingual Social Work Dictionary consists of more than 800 defined social work concepts; and More than 250 emotive words in English, Afrikaans, Setswana and Sesotho that can be used during interviews and counselling.
Outcomes of the APD opportunity:
At the end of this webinar, the participants should be able to:
- Appreciate the NWU’s position on Multilingualism
- Share in the launch of the Multilingual Social Work Dictionary of the North-West University
Expectations/ Requirements:
