Dr Jessica Pool, an expert in the scholarship of teaching and learning, has more than 10 years of experience in SoTL research. During this session, you will gain from her valuable expertise towards successfully conceptualising a SoTL project. Furthermore, the application for funding and ethical criteria will be discussed.
Purpose of the CPD opportunity:
The purpose of this Webinar is to provide knowledge on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) by unpacking the purpose, aim, and methodology of SoTL.
Outcomes of the CPD opportunity:
By the end of this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Understand SoTL in relation to teaching and learning and the NWU strategy;
- Understand the difference between a scholarly approach to teaching and learning and scholarship of teaching and learning;
- Apply relevant SoTL processes.
