The Assignments tool is the perfect place for students to submit those longer essay questions. This session will cover the lesser-known and more advanced features such as peer reviews, group work and TurnItIn.

Purpose of the CPD opportunity:

The aim of this webinar is to introduce staff to lesser-known features and functions within the Assignments tool - including model answers, group assignments, peer review, TurnItIn and the features available for markers (this is specifically with regard to ODL modules).

Outcomes of the CPD opportunity:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Create a Group Assignment;
• Create an assignment for peer review;
• Create an assignment for TurnItIn and access a TurnItIn report;
• Explain the overall steps for allocating markers;
• Grade Assignments and provide students with feedback.
