Purpose of the CPD opportunity:

The purpose of the webinar session is to introduce the PDF Marker tool to NWU academic staff. The PDF Marker tool enables lecturers to mark assignments (submitted in PDF format) offline, and electronically (on-screen). The PDF marker tool was developed to be used as a stand-alone tool or in conjunction with the Assignments functionality in eFundi.

Outcomes of the CPD opportunity:

After completion of the webinar session, the attendee should be able to:

• Download and install the PDF Marker tool;
• Download assignments that were submitted via the eFundi Assignments tool;
• Explain the process of marking PDF assignments using the PDF Marker tool;
• Upload feedback of marked assignments to eFundi.

Expectations/ Requirements:

Staff attending this session should already have some experience with the eFundi Assignments tool.
