Purpose of the CPD opportunity:

The purpose of this webinar is to inform lecturers of all the CTL SADS opportunities available on their campus such as reading development, student academic advising, student academic development workshops, maths and stats centres and peer-learning and support programmes to enhance student success.


Also focussing on how to utilise peer support assistants (tutors, SI leaders and academic peer mentors) optimally during remote online teaching and learning.

 

Outcomes of the CPD opportunity:

At the end of this webinar, the participants should be able to:

  • Support students meaningfully through the academic peer learning and support programmes, individual advising, and specialised support services offered by CTL SADS;
  • Utilise their academic peer assistants effectively to support students during remote online teaching and learning.
